Shipping and Returns

In most cases, SES Orders are processed and shipped one business day after the order is placed, with the exception of Payroll Deduction orders which are processed upon verification of employment.  For example, if you placed an order on Friday at 10:00AM with Next Day shipping, your order will be processed Monday (1 Business Day) and arrive to you on Tuesday.  All SES Orders are shipped by UPS. We suggest having your order delivered to your store (Commercial Delivery), it is less expensive and someone will be there to sign for the package.  Make sure to put your store name, ie Safeway Store #9999, Attention: "Your Name". Please be sure to view our UPS Delivery policies below. By placing a SES web order you agree to the UPS delivery policies. SES is not responsible for additional shipping cost due to packages that are returned to SES.

Next-business-day delivery by 3 p.m. to most U.S. addresses; by 4:30 p.m. to rural areas. By 4:30 p.m. in 2 business days to most areas (by 7 p.m. to residences). Delivery to businesses by 4:30 p.m. and to residences by 7 p.m. in 3 business days.
Service Days Monday—Friday. Delivery is by the end of the business day. Monday—Friday. Monday—Friday. Monday—Friday.
Delivery Area Available throughout all 50 states. Available throughout all 50 states to addresses where UPS Priority Overnight delivery is by 10:30 a.m. or noon.  Not available in all areas of Alaksa and Hawaii. Available throughout all 50 states. Available throughout all states except Alaska and Hawaii.
Exceptions UPS cannot deliver to P.O. boxes. No hazardouse materials to or from Alaska and Hawaii. Available from Hawaii in 1 or 2 business days. Delivery to some rural areas of Alaska and Hawaii in 3 business days. Not available to and from Alaksa and Hawaii.

Shipping Policy

SES uses UPS for all shipments. Rates are calculated online at time of order based on the weight of the product and the destination zip code.

Return Policy

All returns must be accompanied by the Safeway Employee Store (SES) Receipt within three weeks of the order date. This receipt supplies SES with the necessary information to quickly process the refund. If you do not have your receipt, print this page and use the return form at the bottom. Be sure to indicate your Web Order number, and fill out the form completely. When requesting a refund, unless the item received was not the item ordered or is defective, the shipping fee is not refundable. Shipping is a service charge to SES. Indicate your complete credit card number with expiration date when returning an item ordered by credit card. Items paid by money orders will be refunded by a check from NASC (must include your Employee ID to process).  All returns must be in the same condition as they were received.  Uniforms that have been washed or worn will not be refunded.

SES will not process exchanges. Any items sent back to SES for exchange will be refunded (terms and conditions above). It is the responsibility of the employee to re-order.

Care Instructions

All SES uniform items should be machine washed in cold or warm water.  Hot water should not be used, as it will increase the possibility of fading and shrinking.  Detergent and stain treatment should take care of any spots, so that hot water is not necessary.  Do not use chlorine bleach. Gentle or delicate cycle is recommended.  Items should be tumble-dried on a low heat setting.

For items with red dye (such as labcoats and aprons), it is recommended that you launder them separately in cold water before first use, with no detergent.  This will help to prevent or minimize the possibility of running and/or bleeding.  Please note that any item containing red dye has a tendency to run.  Multiple washings in cold water will help to prevent this.
